Wexford Opera House (2008) in association with the Office of Public Works Architects, Dublin & Keith Williams Architects, London.

BHA obtained the Fire Certificate for this state of the art 33 million development with a 750 seat theatre & associated ancillary areas in 2006. In this project we witnessed how fire engineering combined the contributions of ventilation and technology to create a building that is sustainable, cost effective and aesthetically pleasing.

Monart House Hotel, Wexford (2006) in association with Design Unlimited Architects, Wexford.

The Fire Certificate obtained in 2005 for the award winning Monart House Hotel comprised of material alterations and the change of use to the existing 1800’s Palladian structure with new extension to the rear consisting of a hotel on the one side connected to leisure and recreational areas including spa health treatment areas on the other. The overall design caters for a fire safe aesthetically pleasing environment for occupants & staff of the hotel. Monart opened in December 2006.

Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney (2009) in association with Malone O’Reagan McGillicuddy Consulting Engineers, Tralee & The Kerry County Board.

The newly granted Fire Cert allows for a max capacity of over 46,000 occupants. The 4.8 million conducted and proposed works consist of:

• a corridor and lift at the rear of the Stand
• south eastern terrace extended as shown
• western end to be extended to create additional capacity
