Reeks Gateway, Killarney (2008) in association with Murray O Laoire Architects, Limerick.

The Reeks Gateway, a much-welcomed retail, office and residential development at the Cleeney Roundabout Killarney. BHA obtained the granted Fire Certificate for the new mixed development in 2005. The new mixed development consists of the following:

1 level of underground car & bike parking facility which is naturally ventilated, above which is located:

• 10 no. retail units & plant/refuse stores at ground floor level
• 5 no. first floor commercial units
• 5 no. second floor commercial units
• 3 no. third floor commercial units
• 1 no. commercial unit at 4th & 5th floor levels
• 7 no. townhouses & 10 no. apartments

Total building floor area in excess of 12,000m².

Parkpoint Development, Limerick (2009) in association with Healy & Partners Architects, Limerick .

The granted Fire Cert for this gateway development to Limerick City in 2007, comprise of 6 double height retail units at ground floor level above an underground carpark. Above the retail units is 8 further levels: i.e. 4 levels of hotel and a further 4 levels of offices located at the top of the building. BHA produced the fire certificate documentation for this project.

Spec Developments, Market St, Listowel in association with O’Sullivan Campbell Architects, Killarney Co. Kerry.

A mixed development 28,000m2 located in Market Place, Listowel, Co. Kerry, is to consist of underground carparking facilities, supermarket, shop units, apartments & office areas. BHA obtained 9 No. separate fire safety certificates for this development in 2007. The estimated cost of the project is in the region of 16 million.
